Question on how to attach this?

For my Singer Treadle 66, when looking in the drawers, I found a bunch of feet and one of them was this quilting foot. I知 trying to figure out how to attach it, however, and I知 not having any luck. The picture with the screw is where the feet normally slide in and are secured with the screw. But if I try it then I can稚 use the adjuster on it to quilt because it痴 in the wrong direction. Am I missing a piece to this or does anyone have a clue how to attach this?

I'm sure Janey will be along with helpful information, but I don't think either of those is for your back clamping 66. The quilt guide, the one on the right in your second picture, appears to be for a side clamping presser foot machine, and the bar on the right is meant to attach to another part to hold it in place (although there could be such a part for the back clamping machine). I think I have one but would have to find it to post a picture.

I agree with Joe about the one on the right being for a side clamp machine. The other needs the quilting foot to use. There are manuals for the 66-1 at https://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_mac...e-manuals.html There is a web page that shows the foot and quilting bar at http://lizzielenard-vintagesewing.bl...ting-foot.html
From my understanding there were a few versions of back clamp attachments. There is a good page of Singer attachments with several for the back clamp machines. It is like QB in that one needs to click on the thumbnails to see a larger version. http://www.needlebar.org/nbwiki/inde...ts/Accessories
