Default Quick! What's the difference between 15/115 again?

What's the difference between a singer 15 and a 115 again? And why would I want a 115? A local thrift store has toe from the same lot with the same decal set.

Why want one? because you don't have one . . . if that is the case. Bobbin cases are harder to find, as are bobbins, so if you get a 115, make sure you get them.

I found a 115 for sale in my town for $40 but it's missing the bobbin case and bobbin. Is it worth it or it's really next to impossible to get a bobbin and bobbin case ? If it is then I guess I will just pass on this one. Thanks.

There are two bobbin cases on ebay right now. The expensive one is $10. So I wouldn't let that hold me back.

#1 Serial G4330424 is in a table (which is in between things so I didn't get a good look at it). It comes with a gallon ziplock of things. It's supposed to work, which means "Ron" plugged it in and ran it for a second. There's a receipt in the bag from the last time it was serviced in 1980. $49.95

#2 Serial G4323522 (how do I keep finding two machines from the same lot? I'm not Noah.) in the reptile case. "Ron" says DO NOT PLUG IN on the tag. The decals are better on this one. No accessories. $49.95

I didn't look for the bobbin cases but now I know I should. These two machines have been there for a while, one is from October.

I wonder if they would haggle. The manager is a bit of a jerk.

I saw those bobbin at eBay but they are brand new. I wanted to get the vintage one but if they are hard to get I might just pass on this one. It sure is a good price but no bobbins and bobbin case on the machine.

sew-classic has those bobbin cases in stock - very reliable place to buy so I would trust those bobbin cases. It looks like that is an industrial type case so it should be just fine - get the bobbins there, too. http://shop.sew-classic.com/Singer-1...5-SCBC1004.htm & bobbins http://shop.sew-classic.com/Bobbins-...ack-55623S.htm
