Well I just finished binding this quilt. It is 104" x 116"s, which on my Queen sized bed is a bedspread! I wish I had a cabin to put this quilt in! To me, it would look great in an old rustic cabin! The whole top is done in flannels. Pieced on my FW and Pfaff 1222e. I did not put flannel on the back. I used ric rack as basket handles and did trapunto with the hearts!

Another WOW finish, Nancy. I love the bright colors, the wide pieced border, the quilting - oh, heck, everything!

Your quilt turned out really nice Nancy! Using ric rack for the basket handles was a great idea.

Thank you all, I had started that quilt before I got into treadles, so it was pieced on all electric machines. My FW, my Pfaff 1222e, and my Mom's Pfaff 130. This year my goal is to get unfinished things done!

Nancy,
Your quilt is beautiful!! I like the bright colors. The rick rack handles on the baskets are cute, so much easier than turning them under. I'd like to volunteer my bedroom to put your quilt into.

Monica and Sharon thank you!

He he, Sharon if you were here I might take you up on the offer to put the quilt on your bed! I don't know what I am going to do with this one! But, our 18 year old granddaughter just loves this quilt! I think, I may save it for her to put on her bed when she moves out. I have made all the granddaughter's quilts. I was really surprised this girl likes this quilt because she is doesn't usually go for the brights like Gramma does. I don't want to put it on my bed because it was just too much work to take a chance on messing it up! I'm trying to finish things - I made a promise to myself that I can't start something new until I finish something that's not done yet!
