    nanna-up north,
Log cabin blocks can be set in many different ways. My personal favorite is the zig zag/streak 'o' lightening set.
I make lots of charity quilts in bright colors and don't ever get to see the recipients with their quilts. My friend sent me a picture of her daughter all snuggled up in her new quilt. She kept looking at all the different fabrics, she thought Miss Sharon was very nice to put all those different ones in the quilt.

I Love your log cabin! I've been saving scraps from cutting out I Spy and kids quilts and this would be perfect. Thank you for showing your quilt.

I love your quilt! It made me smile to hear about the picture - that is so nice that you get to see it being loved.

Sharon, I love all the colors in your quilt. I like to use bright colors too. The little girl will really treasure her new quilt.

Wish I had my mother's machine. Have no idea where it's at. Love your quilt.

Wish I had her 66 treadle and NOT the plastic piece of garbage that she later bought which was also a Singer. Spent more time in repair shop than it ever did sewing.

Here's my latest three pieced and quilted on my FW and 201. They went to OK after the tornado.
