Bennett that is a pretty quilt. I love quilting with straight lines for quilts like this.

Wilbur's quilt - made from (DH) grandpa's old shirts. 2 year old Wilbur is VERY opionated - likes to wear shirts like grandpa wears - won't wear the kind that go over the head. Sewed it on my Spartan.

    Default Not-so-disappearing 9 patch

I made this quilt for the lady who practically gave me a Kenmore over the weekend. I did FMQ it on my vintage Monarch 15 Clone, so it is somewhat vintage related. The lady's daughter is having a baby Wednesday, and wanted a black, pink, and zebra quilt. I will deliver it to her tomorrow.

Thank you. I actually did the FMQ with one continuous thread, instead of any breaks or restarts. I was quite proud. The back is the hot pink but satin, so it will be soft on the baby.

We gave it to our little man, Wilbur, for his 2nd birthday yesterday. He looked at it for one second, hugged the quilt and shouted BOO! BOO! (blue) Blue is his favorite color. He's been using a pink floral quilt..... He has 3 older sisters.... and a brother due in another month.

Melinda - that is one very nice quilt - can you believe yours and mine are the same quilt block patterns?

I can only make two. The nine patch and I found how to make it disappear so I tried it on a couple. Yours is very nice.
