WOW - We'd like to add our thanks and congrats. John really likes the Anker.

There is an accessory that wasn't mentioned. Did the buttonhole cutter/punch/chisel come originally with the machine?

What a great find! That cam set up is similar to the Necchi wonder wheel system. I don't think I've ever seen another machine with it, at least not one so similar.

Holy moly - I'm stunned. Never heard of Anker. Took my breath away. Do I have to move to South Dakota to find awesome vintage machines?

I thought the Singer was a great find until I saw the Anker. I think that machine has the most cool/unique features I've ever seen on one machine. I love the hood on that one. That alone would have been enough for me to want one, let alone the external cam drive, nifty motor arrangement, twin tensions and cool green color.
    Congrats on a successful trip!

Oooooh! FanTASTIC machine! I'd never hear of an Anker before, but now I will keep an eye out for them. Thanks!

Congratulations on a successful weekend find! Cool machines. But that Anker, wow. Good thing you're the one who found it. I would have been way over my head on that one. You have knack for know how everything moves and works on these old machines! Enjoy. But seriously, 300 yds of fabric at one time??? Start the 3rd new shed!

That is a really, really cool machine! I'd go for the 300 yds of fabric too.

What terrific finds! I have never seen such an interesting machine as the Anker - will be so much fun to play with!! Thanks Cathy for showing us how it all works - I wouldn't have had a clue - if you have time, when you get it going, please post a video. It would be great to see her in action

Thanks for sharing all the interesting pics. That Loren is a 'serious' looking machine. I've never seen the like! Now where are the pics of the 300 yards of material and other table treasures?

What pretty two new babies to add to your family. I don't ever remember seeing those colors on any of the adults that sewed when I was growing up. Thanks for posting.
