Default Sears Kenmore 158.13180

Hello!

I bought a vintage Sears Kenmore model 158.13180. It's a great little machine, very sturdy! I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to knowing the different functions of a machine. What I’d like to know is this: It seems the presser foot is not of the snap-on variety. Is there an attachment or an adaptor I can order to make the snap-on feet I bought compatible?

Thank you and happy crafting!

Welcome. It appears that the 1318 is a low shank machine. I haven't bought a "new" set of snap-on feet, but I do have some that didn't come with an adapter, aka ankle, as I got them used. I was under the impression that new 'sets' come with an ankle (and now have some). There are several places on the web that sell just the ankle. Years ago, I bought a snap on foot that I thought would work with my machine, but it did not fit. I kept it and now have some other ankles that it will work with.

Thank you! I didn’t know there was a specific height of the shank. I just ordered one on amazon... I’ll update when it arrives!

Do you have a link to the set you ordered?
