Default Which sewing machine was this cabinet for?

I bought this cabinet w/o a machine in it because it had such a large sewing surface and it was different than all of the others I had seen.

It has 1957 stamped inside but nothing else to identify it. None of the machines I have will fit w/o some woodwork tweeking.

I am very curious as to what machine originally went in it. Anyone know? The bracket holes are round with one screw hole in them.

That's a slick looking cabinet! I love it. No clue as to the machine.

Thanks Lori. I was thinking the hardware less drawers might be a clue?

Most often I've seen that style with a Pfaff inside.

Pfaff did have some really cool-looking, functional cabinets. How far apart are the bracket holes? I can go measure my Pfaff 130 in the (plain Jane) cabinet.

I looked at all of my machines and it isn't Pfaff as I have two of those, but it does appear to match my Singer 306W. I might try to fit it in tonight when DH gets home to help me. Thanks everyone.
