    A 319 for FREE!?!?!?!?

Why couldn't I be there? Somebody will grab it. That's too good an offer to refuse.

big sigh - that is one machine still on my wish list.
Last fall they were all over eBay, but for the last two months almost none have shown up. Back then I was considering getting a black one, but since then DH and I decided a green one would be best - as I have no other green Singers in the herd yet.

Too far for me but I'd be all over it otherwise. I was 7 hours late on a free Singer Rocketeer this weekend. At least that's how long the ad was there before I saw it and responded.

    Vic,

One more "important" thing. The 319 uses the semi-obosolete 206-13 needle. It's similar to the 15x1, but shorter from the point to the eye. This is important because the longer 15x1 can eat up the bobbin case. These needles are getting harder to find, but are still out there.
