Great price for a 301. I have 4 of them and love them all. Two are black, long and short bed, one is all tan, long bed and one is tan and mocha long bed. They are great machines and easy to tote around.

I have one, 301A since HS graduation in 1957, sew everyday, so far, perfect stitch for almost 58 years
Truly expect it will go on sewing long after I have gone to my great reward. By the way, sewing machines in Heaven do not need bobbins...according to the dream I had last night.
You will love your 301 for the perfect stitch and the visibility of the slant needle, also the ability to wind a bobbin for next project even as you are sewing current project, makes you feel very clever along with a leaders and enders project... good mind exercise.
Now, I must stop praise for 301, my 1630 (Bernina) is watching and she is a diva.

WOW!! I thought I really got a good deal on that, but when did I do that? LOL Welcome to the Board from Glenda m in Oklahoma. I have two 301's, do most of my sewing on them. Love the bigger harp that they have. Have fun with yours.

I have a black short bed 301 that I was given free from Craig's list.
I like my 301 because its fast, sews a nice stitch, can drop feed dogs, doesn't weigh a ton & its easy to work on.

Excellent price, excellent machine. I love AnnieRose, my 301, for piecing and FMQ so much that when I she had a problem with her plug I bought another 301 for back up. It's not like I don't have 13 other machines in the house.
