    Yay! Glad to hear it was an easy fix, and thanks for the details on how you did it! I should've thought of the foot pedal because I have a 201 I can't quite get the contacts set right on in the pedal--it likes to either sew on its own or not move at all.

    Hi C.... my 403A is also sluggish as well so I copied your comment above and will get my DH to see if he can get her going again like new. <fingers crossed>
