Default Singer 66 in a #65 cabinet & bench in exchange for fabric!

Confirmed Singer 66-16 for sale ($150) or barter (for $150 worth of quilting fabric). He’s selling for someone who makes quilts for charity. When I emailed for clarification on what was acceptable as barter, I asked if 75 or so fat quarters with a price range of $1.50 to $2.00 be okay. Response was yes! Seems like it would a swell deal if someone has extra fabric (is there such a thing?) and would like to add a 66 et al to their collection :-)

quilting fabric is a really hi $$$$$$$$ word, That could range from 4$ to 24$ a yd. I just gave my son's G/F a king size, and made sure she knows there's over $250 worth of matrails in that thing. hoping it doesn't become a dog blanket.

I'm not sure whether or not posting this was okay. Administrators please let me know if it's not and I'll delete it. When I see a CL ad with a coveted machine or a good deal, I get a bit overzealous. Even if I myself can't have the machine, I hate the thought of it ending up in a landfill somewhere. I in no way profit from these ads I just like bringing people and machines together. Please forgive my ignorance.

That is a nice setup. I'm not sure how admin will see it. I personally don't see it as being any different from any of the good deals I've seen and posted about here.

10xs, I hope your son's GF appreciates the thought, effort, time and funds that went into it! Having someone make something for you is a very special thing, but it also takes a special person to realize that.

It is a nice set up, almost makes me wish I wanted another 66 . Thanks Rodney, hopefully the powers that be will see it that way as well.
