singer 66 ed eye, missing bobbin top
to the best of my knowledge I have a singer 66 red eye treadle oak, 1917, it belonged to my mother, but is missing the pat that goes over the bobbin case. I would like to find a replacement part, if anyone has any ideas as to where I would find it,also cant seem to find where the serial # is. thank you

Patsy,
The serial number is on the bed just at the bottom of the pillar.
Go here: { http://www.ismacs.net/singer_sewing_...-database.html } to date the machine and verify it's model #.
You can find replacement slide plates at Sew-Classic { http://www.shop.sew-classic.com/ }. They are reproductions but all those I've purchased have fit and worked fine.
