Singer 66 Treadle
My DH bought me a Singer 66 Treadle Machine for my birthday.
It's not locked up but I'm thinking it possibly needs oil.
It will barely move when I try to treadle it with my feet.
Everything turns well by hand.
How and where all do I oil?
Thanks!

every place that you have moving metal to metal on the treadle base needs oil. That includes al connecting places at the rocker plate, the hub/axle of the power wheel and if the pittman arm is steel, at both ends of that.it should do several revolutions of the wheel with very little input from some toes. Have you taken the belt off and tried it.\? Too tight or too loose of a belt can cause this problem, also. The head itself should do three revolutions from a quick spin of the handwheel when not connected to the treadle or fabric. If it won't do that . again, oil everything that moves Lok for clumps of fuzz, too or hair or thread wrapped around axles.

Congrats on your "new" Model 66. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but here are a couple of links on servicing a treadle and the Model 66 manual:
