Thanks, Jon. I'll have to measure out how much wire I'm going to need so I can order some and get that 15-91 rewired. It's working but I don't like to use something with cracking rubber around the wire.

And, if you're wondering, I'll get back to that Davis as soon as the Christmas madness subsides a little. I keep putting oil and blaster on that back slide plate and it's still holding tight. I may have to polish it up on the machine.

i was looking at his ebay listing and it seems like you need to bolt it into your machine. i wonder it the wheel knob is included. there is a screw that is bolted directly to the knob.

It better include the knob if they are going to charge that much for a window winder knob aren't those a couple bucks at Home Depot?

I agree with Miriam. for $35, it should have a predrilled wheel knob.

I wonder if you could take a knob somewhere and have it tapped?

You can buy a window crank at any Home Depot or Lowe's. I don't know how much it would cost to have a hole tapped. I would think any machine shop - anyplace that rebuilds car engines could do it. But yes that hole is the big expense.
