I just got a new center Singer logo treadle irons. It was disassembled and in a box in an old barn. It was a barn sale etc. So luckily all the bolts were there. I have it put together but there isn't a belt guide. I thought it might be missing, but there also isn't any sort of hole in the iron for one. Does anyone know about this? There is a hole to put the belt shifter (which is missing but I have located several). But the belt guide is the mystery. I watched several online videos and know where it should go--but the area that is shown isn't triangular like in the video. It does have the old wooden pitman arm--which i figured out how to attach.
