Almost, It is my youngest daughters.

I have a Parlor cabinet White FR that you may want to check out if you are looking for machines. We are trying to "re-home" it. PM me for details

I'd buy the first one for the case even if the machine was toast

yes. i will be able to check it tomorrow and will see how it is. i am not betting on the machine/motor working but machine looks nice to refurbish. i love working on those old machines.my wife will kick my b...tt for getting so many old machines and she said i hsv now occupied half of the garage with all of these old cabinets and machines.

look at my featherweight on this picture. he looks lonely sitting there. she's getting suffocated by all those junks. she's on top of that TIDE jug and below the bike bag. i am so bad as i need to find a better place for my Featherweight. thanks.

UPDATE: first let me say thanks for your advise. this is a great forum to get any information about vintage sewing machines. you guys are so helpful in fulfilling my addiction (ha ha ha). and believe me, i am now hooked on antique sewing machines - thanks guys. HELLO, My Name is Vic and i am....anyway as much as i want them, i decided to pass on the machines. i will just wait and wait to get a better deal or better machines. time will tell and time will make me a better antique buyer. thanks guys. really appreciate it.

and now i am hunting this guy....... it's on my local CL. just look at how nice the cabinet is. haven't seen a cabinet this clean and in such good condition.

not to rain on your parade - this is the one I would be after if they would go to $20 or so - it does need work you know: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/clt/4211988662.html
I had one like that - it has a heavy balance wheel - it will sew through a board... not really but it is very nice...

Hi vmaniqui, I have a 128 that I am in the process of cleaning up. I think I paid about $55 AUS for it but I tend to be a bit guided by the heart rather than common sense! I bought it because I THINK the decals on the 28/128's (La Vencedora) are only found on that model, so that was kinda nice. Would love to know if that's true if anyone knows? It's all down to personal "what gets ya happy" isn't it? Yeah and I have 3 99's and I love them too. Probly paid too much for them I dare say!

That 128 I posted is way too much. Seller is asking for $185. I'll pass even if it's in good condition.
