Default Some Interesting reading from the Smithsonian

I can't take credit for finding this. The link was posted on the Yahoo Davis group by Ray

The Smithsonian library is fantasic. They also have a lot of manuals for machines and attachments, service manuals, and various books. Here's a nice art embroidery book with color plates, dated 1911.

Oops, that particular link wasn't the Smithsonian. It was the Library of Congress via Internet Archive.

If you called a magazine 'Journal of Domestic Appliances' today, would anyone buy it?

It seems to be meant for dealers/retailers. Some ads boast high profits, easy handling for dealers, etc.
