Looks like it is (was) for the German market. You've got a bit of work to do if you're going to run it with electricity, but nothing that's impossible. I redid a home machine portable from Germany some months back. It wasn't that hard, I just replaced the motor, wiring, foot controller and light bulb. I've been told there is an adapter that you can buy that converts 110/120 to 250 so you can use the original motor. I haven't found one yet, but then I haven't looked real hard either.

I kinda think I'd run it as a treadle.

Joe, since this is set up like an industrial, this is a clutch motor with a brake disk on the back end, I would not need the foot pedal, just have to move the pitman link to the clutch arm, though that is not obvious as to how it would work. Also the motor pulley does not seem to line up with the Treadle wheel, So I am kinda at a loss as to how this was supposed to work I don't know if you changed belts, or if the motor just drove the large treadle belt. it is a mystery, and without a way to spin the motor ( currently ) it is Going to be a treadle for sure.

Our local SMG has a few industrials with tables in his shop. But none like yours and I haven't really looked at those he does have. I'm going to try to go over there tomorrow and if I make I'll crawl under his industrials with my camera and see what I can find out.
