Ethel I hope you get the table it is a great score and so nice to have a large flat area around your machine for sewing.

I'd like to see the tiny ones with something for perspective. I was amazed to see how small the treadle irons are by themselves the first time I saw one without table or cabinet. I've wanted to see the 'kids' or smaller machine treadles in 'real life.' It is the cabinets, tables with fold outs that take up the room. It seems that the card tables don't take that much room and EASIER to store/hide for me. It is nice that they made them for holding sewing machines at the right height. I'm not sure that I would like to set a sewing machine on a regular card table and sewing on it. I really like the Singer card tables. I sure would have liked to get this one. I know the card tables aren't as prevalent as other tables and cabinets.

I hope Ethel 's son is able to pick it up and get it to her.

I'm near enough, but I really don't need a table like that. Haroo.

    Hi All,

My son was able to get the table. It is for a 301.

The couple selling it couldn't believe he had driven so far (over 2hrs) for an old table. He just said he was doing it for his Mother. So happy to get it, but it will be awhile before he gets here again. When he does I will post pictures of it with a 301 in it!

Great, Super, Fantastic.... I'm glad he was able to get it for you. It does seem strange to go that far for an "old" table, but we know this isn't just any 'old' table - a specific purpose and not that many made. I haven't seen many of the sewing machine card tables in "real life." As a matter of fact, the only the ones I have seen in real life are the ones I have. Both of them I have gotten in the last year or so.

Ethel, so glad you got it! Please post a photo so I can see what you're all talking about -- I've never seen one (I don't think).
