I joined a vintage Kenmore blog when I found the zig zag that wouldn't sew center. Anyway, I got an email the other day that says Sears is discontinuing the Kenmore sewing machine. So Joe, hang on to yours, they will soon be more valuable.

We were in the local Sears store a couple months ago and went to their sewing machine section. What a joke. No thread. No needles. No accessories. Several cheap plastic Singers, one of the grey HD Singers and a couple Brothers. One box of something Kenmore. That's it. One shelf in the rear of the vacuum sweeper section.
It wasn't worth the three calories it took to look there.
