Default standard rotary treadle does anyone know what this is?

I found this mystery item among the accessories/attachments in my Standard Rotary Treadle.
Pic not very good but it looks like a thunderbird shape with 2 rings a horseshoe shape with 2 star dangles. Looks like the same metal as the attachments. Could this be a trinket? I noticed the darning foot has a blue star on the side of the attachment.

    I'd say trinket.
