Default Threading a FR White Rotary Treadle

OK, when I bought this last week, I thought I could figure out how to thread the darn thing. I oiled it, put the belt back on and it runs fine, but I can't thread it!

All attempts have failed and I end up with a bunch of jumbled thread.

I tried looking on the web for a manual but I'm failing at that also.

    Can anyone help? PLEASE.

Are you treadling it so the hand wheel runs opposite a Singer machine? White's run backwards.

    I found a user's manual for mine here: http://community.webshots.com/user/arachnesobsession

Also, I took a picture with some explanation on threading here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...ml#post4647584

    Hi there,
I got the manual from ISMACS website for Miss Sophie. The big thing to remember is White machine the hand wheel turns in the opposite direction

Once the two of you sync up you will love her. I already have my first task picked out for Miss Sophie- it's just a matter of fabric shopping.

Good luck and let me know if you need help.

    Best,
    d
