Hi,
I looked up the distributor, "The New Davis Sewing Machine Co." of Springfield, Missouri and this was all I could find:
http://www.missouricorps.com/corp/591272.html
Not quite sure what is meant by "Ficticious Name"
Jon

"Fictitious Name" is the legal term used for a business that is using the name of the owner.
Crimsonforge is the fictitious name for my armoring business. I have to maintain a permit with the fictitious name and my info on file with the local govt. To get the permit they have to run checks to verify that the name is not taken already.

The Fictitious Name Permit should still be a matter of record and could be researched.
I have had to do a similar search once, and the Fictitious Name was under a Corporate name, then I had to research to corporation to determine the humans behind the firm. wheew
