I just looked in my sewing cabinet and I have a copy of it! I can't believe I held onto it! I can send it to you. PM me with your Address. Do you need me to take a picture of it and post it here?T The booklet says, Instructions Stylist zig-zag sewing Machine/model 457 Singer. copyright 1969. My daughter used this machine before I gave it away. I made a copy of the manuel incase she lost the original or trashed it.

Wow, so far I haven't run into a deal like that. While traveling I asked at a thrift store if they had any sewing machines. She told me they didn't and when they get them in, they ship them overseas to the poor that they are working so they can start a small sewing business.
I thought that was a great idea since I don't 'need' a machine, if you know what I mean :-D :D

what about foster kids? They are poor and in every state we have members pluss some! there is a program for the older foster kids called independent living and many of them could use someone to teach basic sewing and mending and would benifit from a machine once taught.

I have this machine (well, one like it). I don't think I have the manual though, too many moves all over the country. I love this machine and use it for stitching jeans and heavier items. It is a work horse. The only reason I bought a newer machine is because this one weighs a ton, being all metal. Great buy!!

This looks like the first sewing machine I bought after I got married. It was a great machine and I did a lot of sewing with it. Then decided I needed one with more stitches so I sold it and bought a Kenmore.
