Reason 10 hits it well for me! I get anxiety a lot, so there are always manual machines set up with long scraps. Calms me right down. I recently paired a not too great treadle base with a. $5 ShopGoodwil 27 Sphinx. That heavy balance wheel really, makes a difference

$5. You scored! The decals look good too. Usually when I see a Sphinx the decals are beat all to heck.
I played on my 27 treadle just a bit today. It's fun when I get it going the right direction. I'm still learning starting.
My feet don't quite follow what my hand is doing yet.
The manual tension release on the 27 takes a little getting used to too.
