I bought a pattern for a case from featherweight221.com. It comes with an embroidery design so you can put the classic featherweight swirlyq on it too.. The pattern I have is listed on the top of this page here...http://www.featherweight221.com/fwrx.../patterns.html. I haven't made it yet, but I will probably do it later in the spring.

I also have a Featherweight soft case. My cat kept clawing the covering of my hard one. We got it through an ad that appeared in many quilt magazines. I think they still advertise, but I think it is for an old fashioned Featherweight table that looks like a card table. The bag has Featherweight embroidered on the side and a nice pocket on the outside. I really like mine and it is lighter than the old box.

I have a wonderful tool box kit that I bought at a local big box hardware store. It has a hard bottom and soft top with pockets and zippers. It fits the Featherweight perfectly and costs about $15.

I bought a sewing machine carrier with wheels at JoAnns. Of course I got it while on sale. My Janome 9000 fits perfectly in it as well as my FW. (No, not at the same time.) I padded the bottom with some 3" left over foam. Works great.

I just purchased a very nice oversized cart that has wheels and an enclosed zippered section on top of the cooler in the sporting goods section of Walmart for 25.00. Has a big zippered bag/pocket in front and 2 pockets on the sides. The Featherweight has room for some material and patterns and sewing accessories. Its also a pretty blue color!!!
