Default Treadle leather machine used on TV

While watching Alaska the Last Frontier on 11/11/13. I saw one of the "main players' haul a old leather treadle sewing machine out on a trailer and stitch up a harness of sorts for one of there cows I was wonder if anyone else saw this? He said that that it had been in use on their farm for many years.

Okay watched the DVR and he said it was a Cobbler model # 29. I recognized the Singer insignia on the iron bi-level treadle base. It was great to see one being used.
This is a rather down to earth show, but for those of us raised on farms, and around old-country farmers, we don't even blink.

Steve it is very close to that one, where your lower level is it had something else I will have to check.
I Googled it and found all sorts of different #29s.

Steve you are right it was just the angle of the camera shot. I could see the legs of the bed and it was deceptive.
Just to hear it clicking right along and the close up of it stitching was great.

I saw that episode, hauling the machine up on the back of the truck was for dramatic effect, lol. Could have sewn it in the barn or house wherever he stores it. He does love sewing on the machine though!!

The hubby and I love this show, he wants to move there, lol, even made up a song about it. I don't know about that.
