Default Trusew Sewing Machine - Anybody Heard of This

There's one for sale in my area and was wondering about it as I'm not familiar with this at all.

Hi Barb, no expert, but I spent a year looking for the just right for me Japanese 15 clone (based on the Singer 15 model)
There are about 1000 (or more!) names on them. sounds like one to me.

Although it could be a Kenmore or Brother or whatever badge and the trusew is the model style?
Some one who knows more than me will be along before long.

A photo would be nice. The 15's and 15 clones have the tension knob on the left face plate rather than on the front above the needle.

You can browse a little and maybe see what matches up.
Here is the link to the Japanese 15 clone info: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...p-t164361.html

Here is a link for some Japanese zig zag and non 15 clones:

And a link for some Japanese machines that do more than zig zag and straight sew:

There is a lot of info on those links. Lots of pictures, too. Maybe you will site something that looks like your Trusew.

Some times the bottom of the machine will have stampings and you can know what company made the machine. Here is a link about that: http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...e-t207416.html
