Oh Jacquie, those are looooovely! Those are my second favorite decals, and they are both in great shape. What a score!

The top one looks very much like the one my SIL has in her garage. :? When she showed it to me recently, my heart skipped a beat. Hers was built in 1924 IIRC and somewhere along the line, it had been motorized. Once it is shipped here and cleaned up, I just may return it to its original state and learn to treadle on it.

I just think the sphinx and the lotus designs are so graceful. And the redhead too. And they sew like a dream, from what I hear. Beauty and function all in one great package. Lucky you!

Today I have been cleaning up a 28K with a view to posting a video on our Youtube channel - Muvandfarve . It will be full instructions on how to clean and oil a vintage machine. I'll post the link as soon as it's posted, which should be in a few days.

We've had a busy time making videos about cleaning up a machine. It's a 1900 Singer 28K, and the video turned into a two part epic, 26 minutes in total, so you might need a cup of tea and a sandwich to keep you going.
