    Thanks for all the input. I'll keep an eye on it and if I can pick it up really cheap I may do so. Too many possibilities for expensive problems if it doesn't work or quits working, but all the above info really helps in making a decision. I'll keep you posted if I decide to go ahead and get it.

    I inherited the 150 from my Mom recently, it was easy to learn to thread and use. One of the things I love about it is the stitch is great, good tension very solid, it sews through heavy fabric no problem.
