Hmmm... the wooden sewing machine is in my neck of the woods. I am going to have to go see it! And how I would like to be able to buy the collection of toys! But my loving husband might not 'love' the acquisition!! (It costs more than our first house cost. LOL! Well, I can dream.)

I'd want some kind of certificate of authenticity for that kind of price...cuz I'm pretty sure I could make one like that! LOL

This one cracks me up - because each week this guy reposts this machine with a lower price:

    http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/art/2815447199.html

At least its a pretty machine (127 hand crank) - but everything here seems to be priced like this:

    http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/atq/2825524439.html

Here we go - no pictures (don't know what the guy is referencing) - but he was quoted that the machine was worth $300 to $600 - and he's only asking $200!!!!!!

Again with the pricing - $300 for a treadle:

Maybe he's really hoping for that electric fireplace and trying to impress people with the great deal. Maybe he figures someone will offer a couple thousand and think they got the deal of the century!
