Ok, so I could not resist this one.... I had to reply to the ad.

This is NOT a Singer sewing machine. It was made by the Imperial Sewing Machine Co.Birmingham UK (England)
In all honesty,It should NOT valued at $4000 (unless it has some amazing connection to a historical person/place/event)
I'm sorry if you were misled by someone else regarding this machine in the first place but I thought I would at least give you the opportunity to be aware of the truth.

I just seen a FEATHERWEIGHT on a flash back of the old movie, "Kramer vs. Kramer". Never watched that movie, but looks like the scene when he is packing up her stuff to send to her maybe. Dustin Hoffman reaches in a cubby and grabs a Featherweight. Beautiful one I might add. Bet that machine is worth a bit now.
