    " singer Sewing machine 1871. sold in 1913 for $8.75.
    serial. # 6370548
    Year of issue 611000 - 913999
    I have the cabinet,stool,and all attachments. was a tredle, changed to knee movement. Excellent condition."

    It's a 201, and the decal set says 1935 - 1950s,.... they want $3000

    That looks an awful lot like a gasket sitting on the cabinet. Why wouldn't you remove it to take the picture, so people didn't ask about stains...? Oh nevermind. It's the same person who would ask $300 for that machine..

    I couldn't help myself. I send an email to the person who thinks we're all rich with sewing machines basically saying it's not a19th century machine for the following 5 reasons....

    No self respecting boat would have that on board...nor would the owner of the boat (even an old John boat) allow that to take up room on the boat.
