    Yes Steve we have seen worse. I had the privledge Of stripping one for a customer several years ago and what a chore to remove that old latex paint then you have to scrub it out of the oak grain. It can be done but I recomend you listen to your gut and run far way from this one

    While I prefer the wood tones, I could live with the paint job if it wasn't such a garish color. It hurts the eyes looking at it. Bet it glows in the dark!

    LOL, Oh yeah! I have 3 old cabinets (Howe, W&W8, and Singer 12) that are far more deserving of the rare time I have to spend in that direction...

    Hey, maybe that is an option, I could trade some of my cooler 1900+ machines for cabinet refinishing...hehe
