LOLOL.. I'd be all over that , The bulk of the machines I buy, don't look that good, two weeks it would look like new,

understand when a cabinet/machine looks like that it's untouched, meaning a very easy repair job. Your not cleaning off 80 yrs worth of someone else's band aid refinshing

The motor still works and is functional, you just can't attach one piece of fabric to another via thread with this machine in it's current condition. The spool holder is snapped off, and the machine was further "messed up" when I tried to take it apart myself. "Lovely machine, but you may want to consider rewording the ad. A "featherweight" is one of two specific models of Singer sewing machines (221 and 222)
The 15-91 is CERTAINLY not a featherweight.
Laws regarding false advertising can be rough."
