So, if the tension's borked, there's no bobbin, no belt... how does the person know that it "still works"?

I report ridiculous ads to the quilting board.

    Speaking of which:

Something bothers me about the machine. I can't put my finger on it, but it looks "off"
Missing a slide plate and a drawer pull. Is that a Singer? I can't read any words on the machine - way too blurry - but it doesn't look like it says SINGER. The cabinet looks like there is wear around where the machine goes. The petal doesn't say SINGER either. Was that the original machine or something else? Yeah something isn't quite right. Maybe it is a knock off.

Ahh.. I only just saw the larger picture. Definitely weird. The whole machine body is a weird shape, plus the badge looks too large as well. Maybe that's just my limited education

See, and my first thought would have been how about if I sweep this floor to remove the straw and turn a light on....

    but I'm weird that way.

My gut said that it was a 3/4 machine. Their dimensions always look a little weird. It's a rather ornate cabinet for a little one though. Still, it's a funny shape, the pillar especially, to my eye. I don't think the cabinet is a singer. Can't tell on the machine either

Default Not sure whether this is Giggle-Worthy, but...

    Isn't this an amazing-looking machine?

I have a Minnesota with a snazzy cabinet... It has a 3/4 size head, too.

Do you mean weird in a "doing a reasonable thing and charging a reasonable price for it" kind of way?
