If you are going to ask some ridiculous price, at least do a better job of trying to sell it. You have to get great-grandma in there somewhere.

This "Vintage Antique Singer Treadle" has a motor, electrical light and a plug ....... hmmmmm definition of "treadle" is.......

I think in this case it is just that the person does not know any better - they probably do not really know what 'treadle' means.
