    "Antique Singer" was all they could come up with?

    If you are going to ask some ridiculous price, at least do a better job of trying to sell it. You have to get great-grandma in there somewhere.

    Ok the ad is to sell a sewing machine ..... nice room.... where is the machine?? oh yeah, tucked away in the far corner ...... if you squint a bit you might be able to see the machine

    This "Vintage Antique Singer Treadle" has a motor, electrical light and a plug ....... hmmmmm definition of "treadle" is....... ..... nice looking though with great decals

    Ooh, very pretty decals.

    I think in this case it is just that the person does not know any better - they probably do not really know what 'treadle' means.
