So let me get this straight: You lied to me (it's new, well not really)? you don't know what it does? And you don't have it? (I will get it later on) and I'm reasonably sure no one on this continent writes a phone number that way.

Sounds like a heck of a deal. I better jump on this one.
they put the phone # that way so that it doesn't get picked up, lots say test + #'s . the # is 1-780-224-8773. rather than write seven 8 zerotwo two four-887Three or something like that. no scammers need apply?

No. I figured they would (rightly) feel really stupid.
When I pull anyone up on something they usually just get angry at me, like it was me who made them this dumb! Guess that's just shooting the messenger.
I haven't added it up but I'd imagine the Singer 66 is the most common model of any sewing machine ever made in history.

Someone can neither read nor write, nor take photographs but knows numbers...2 and 5 at least.

I looked through the other listings and I think it's code. Someone in stuck in a paneled room somewhere, apparently strapped to a massage table (there is no picture of that either), with a mirror nearby....

They "know what it's worth" but make them an offer. Always makes me want to offer $20. They have 3 listings for this too.
