I almost bought one of those Izek machines, but the seller tried to turn the sale into an auction. The Gameboy was used to create stitch patterns.

Not a giggle, but an unusual model 15. Has a roller foot and seems to have a knee lift. The badge says 15-33 but Ismacs says only model 15 from 1910. Decals are unusual for a 15, too.

I'd say just plain lazy. It's a 201, missing its slide plate (as usual).
Probably well worth $25, but the sign of a truly ignorant owner is that they don't know where the front is.
You can't buy replacement slide plates, unlike the 66 ones (which are also always missing).

In my experience it just means the person selling doesn't sew and doesn't know a thing about sewing machines.

Thanks Miriam! I thought the knob adjusted the "throw". I guess the lever is just forward/reverse.

I like that decal, too! I didn't think to look at Ismacs model list. Why is "Vertical oscillating" called a C.B. shuttle. What does the C.B stand for?

There's a "Singer Domestic" on my CL today, too. I see that sort of thing a lot, but usually they leave out the real brand name and just call it a Singer.

Not a giggle, again, but this is a back clamping 66 with what appears to be a hinged straight stitch foot. I emailed the seller about it, thinking that maybe s/he fabbed the foot, but she didn't understand my question. I've never seen a hinged back clamp foot before. Singer stopped making the back clampers in 1922/23. I think the best view of the foot is the last picture.
