The auction says it's refurbished. It's a repaint and not a color I would have picked. And some of it is wrong. It's not a "Featherweight 301". Just a 301.

Chris, that last one is an industrial. It might be a pretty nice machine if it was fixed up. Price might only be a little out of line for one of those. I would prefer to have one with reverse though. Those were built for speed.

Miriam; Good to know. Didn't know industrials came in any color other than black. Still not interested though.

Yeah they do come in other colors. I guess so you can find your spot in the factory. I bet you could do some free motion on that one if you can figure it out. That one does need some clean up and it needs a good table, motor and the knee lift - a light and a thread holder would be nice too - yeah it is over priced.

We have a community by and sell page on Facebook. A hand crank in a bentwood case is on there, looks nice. Bidding war is on. Started at $80. now up to $251.00. And they posted a picture of the back of the machine. LOL going to pick some up cheap when I am down south and sell them here!

For $400, there had better be a jewel encrusted sewing machine in that table!

I thought that was interesting that they say the price includes the machine but doesn't mention what machine it is and the table looks like it is empty. . . .

It is ssssoooo expensive because it is made by the Emperor Sewing Machine Company - you use those to make the Emperor's new clothes. These are a very rare machine. They run like a sewing machine too.
