My hubby said my machine must be worth a ton... A regular ole 15-91 in a cabinet. He was sad when I informed him otherwise, lol. I mean, to me it is a gold mine my dads baby clothes were made on it. Sentimental value should not equal sentimental pricing.

I agree wholeheartedly misskira! This guy isn't sentimental tho, he's greedy. I really wanna see the completed sale of a similar machine that sold for $700....having had a motor installed and the treadle peddle removed...

Why wouldn't people take 2 minutes to dust something before they put it on CL?? Geez! I'm not saying give it a complete overhaul, but make it a tad bit pretty for the picture, right?!

Nothing special on CL in Knoxville this weekend, but I did see an old black singer in a GAWGESS cabinet at a thrift store for $100. Sad time when a thrift store charges more than an antique store. Sadder still that when I go back on Monday to pick up the desk we bought, I bet the singer will be gone. Funny that I thought the tag said "$10" so I was interested for 10 seconds!!

I'd take them for free. I can see only five machines, wonder what the other four look like? Alas, too far away. Guess that is good though.

I'd take them for free, too! I can see 8 machines. The white ones are sort of camouflaged against the background.
