I love those butterfly display cases. I would think sewing machine cases wouldn't be difficult to build, having average skills.

I've built one and have another almost done. It's not terribly difficult but you would be amazed at how much time it can take. There is a considerable amount of labor in that Necchi case. Probably more than twice the amount as in a simple case like most machines come in. Things can be sped up in a factory setting but the amount of steps is the same.
