Where do these people come up with the outrageous prices for machines???

I do not know. I am resisting the temptation to contact the seller and ask them what dream world they live in. That IS the most outrageously priced vintage machine I have seen... I think :?:
If you read the rest of the ad, the seller says that $1600 is not an unheard of price for the machine.
I hope he gets it... I wonder I could advertise mine on the same town - heck for that price I would ship it for free...
Sewww, you are really getting a bargain at $1200, huh? Like I said, what dream world are they living in?
Heck, I could drive one up there in my Corolla, and still come out ahead and deliver it in person for that. Even sew them a project on it while they watched!! LOL

Up through Jr HS, we had ugly one piece dark blue uniforms that we had to embroider our name on the pocket. Not a good look for me at all! I hated them!

My one piece gym suit circa 1961 was a dull shade of washed out royal blue.

Charlee, you are younger than I am. No possibility of woodshop for me :-( Ah, well
I am glad to see someone else who thought taking Latin was worthwhile. I sure do, and wish it was still offered. So many words we use everyday have a Latin root.
I took 4 years of Latin in HS, also required to take home ec.
I took 2 years of Latin and 0 years of home ec. And I can do more handiwork than anyone one in my high school class wHo took at least 2 years of Home ec.

    THANKS, MOM!

Had to come back to edit. Lost my post somehow.

Should we all email him and warn him he won't be getting any serious requests.

Besides, I think I've got as slightly worn one that's identical up in the closet rack.

CAn we at least write and tell him NOT to expect any "serious inquiries"?
