We went out today for awhile...didn't find anything for me, but found some slant shank attachments that I'll be posting for sale... :) (buttonholer, zig zagger, regular attachments...along with some I picked up a couple of weeks ago!)

Well, I didn't have any problems - we met in a parking lot at a local shopping plaza. Just mover her MIL to a nursing home and was selling her things. Here are some pictures of my newest machine - good thing it's small, I'm running out of room!

is the small hand crank really considered a TOY? Looks like a full blown sewing machine---------just small.

What a beautiful child's Singer machine! I would love to have one, but in my area they are quite pricey! Congrats!

Well, it is small (7" x 3" - including the handle), but it does sew like a big machine. You can even regulate stitch length, which I didn't realize it could do. The presser foot is shaped to be a needle guard, which will be nice when DGD is around. The manual has directions for making gathers, tucks and ruffles - and talks about the girls using it now and taking it to college. I have to admit, I had fun sewing with it!

I LOVE my little model 20!! It's so much fun to play with, and makes a perfect chain stitch. The manual is so cute in the way it reads...

Congrats for getting the machine into treadle. Yes, treadling the 401As are a bit of a workout. I think it just has to do with the belt hitting the machine. I noticed if I sit back just a bit from the cabinet, I can treadle a bit easier (hope this makes sense). I too don't like the e-machines speed for the detailed work that I'm doing on the bindings. Looking forward to your pictures!
