Same place as the darning foot for the slant needles. April1930sshoppe.com Her bobbins are repros, but they aren't bad. She may have some originals, but I wonder how much they'd be. She has a vintage Penquin walking foot for a FW for $600.

Finally got photos of the Davis VF...hopefully he'll accept my offer, the cabinet has seen better days, but think it'll clean up nicely!

I find it interesting how some folks here remember Montgomery Wards for clothes and sewing machines, while I remember it for its wonderful science show.

I'm in also. I have a vintage Singer and did the cabinet but now I have to clean the sewing machine. I will be needing help on getting some parts. Good idea

Old Ironsides is my 1935 Singer 15-91. Mostly I have just done FMQ on her. The last couple of days though, I have been piecing quilt blocks as I already had a bunch of bobbins loaded with white thread. Can I just say- THAT THING ROCKS! I am getting great stitches and it just keeps going and going. My grampa would be so proud to see me working on one of his beloved machines. It has been alot of fun working with the old gal. I can't wait to do some more on her!
