Look at this featherweight cabinet I found on e-bay. I have never seen anything like it before I love it.

I was given a New Home treadle cabinet. It is in decent shape. No knobs on the drawers and one crack in the veneer. If anyone is interested I will gladly donate it to you. Please PM me. Kathie S

I am dreaming of owning a FW. What model would anyone recommend here. I am saving for one and if it is to be, it will happen!

Do the feed dogs drop on a 66? If so, can someone tell me how? Thanks

So Glenn is she a pre 1900 machine? I have never seen a Singer with the Orange Blossom/Dogwood decal. Yes, of course you are right the VS2 was the precursor to the 27! What a great find!

Nope they don't drop. To drop the feed dogs, you need to stick to a 15!

Oh, and my offer got turned down!

    Nancy
Pretty!! Even tho I have one already, I'd consider this! :)
So Charlee are you saying my offer of $100 was way too low? You'd give them $250?

    Nancy
No, I said I'd consider giving them $250...the decals are pretty good on it, and it looks fairly clean...I'd probably offer $150 (*IF* I had it to offer, which I don't, so it would have to stay with them! )
