You know it just occurred to me that we (especially me) use to point people to a previous post of a machine photo. Now that we can customize our number of posts per page, my page number and your page number will be different! I guess what I will have to do is tell people to change the number of posts per page to whatever I have in order to see a photo!

There is a Yahoo group you can join called Necchi sewing Machine club. It is a group for Italian made Necchis. They have manuals you can download and lots of information. You can get any questions answered there to. It also has a good file on cleaning the insides of the machine.
You got a good buy. I got a Necchi BU Mira and cabinet on Freecycle. Cleaned it all up and rewired it. I love it.

There is a Singer 237 at my local thrift shop ... for $27... I can't buy it because of "crowding" in my house. :-(

Monica, I usually do keep the photo's on my desktop, but some of the first ones are not on this computer as we upgraded our computer.
Oh well this will be a rainy day project! And I agree that I liked the color and look of the old system better. This white is very tiring to the eyes!

I need help with a decision, This machine is $55 but I don't know if I should buy it since the bed is cracked, otherwise it looks to be in pretty good shape. From the pics.
VERY RARE HARRIS "S" HAND CRANK SEWING MACHINE FROM ABOUT 1930 WITH ART DECO STYLIZED ROSES. Made probably by Haid & Neu for Harris which was a large London distributor. This machine dates to around 1930, the stylized roses are typical of the Art Deco style. Note the ruler inlaid in the base and the recessed hand crank, with the bobbin winder being directly driven from the gear wheel. Includes a lovely locking case with key. The base is cracked, so this may not be usable as is, but it is lovely and makes a wonderful display piece

Janis and Iris, great idea about the numbered posts! I hadn't noticed that the posts are numbered. Now I will have to spend some time to find my old photo's here and jot down their post number! And actually, Charlee said that if you do a 'search' of your user name your posts will come up, which will make it easy to find the photos!
