I took a chance and pretty much did the deal based on the pictures she sent. It looked clean, cabinet looked okay, said it had the bobbin case. I figured the competition for that one would be pretty stiff at her asking price. I told her if there was nothing majorly wrong when I got there, I'd take it. I'm hoping she isn't fishing for "bids" and sells it before I can make it out there and that it's not horribly messed up in some way. If nothing else, I get a nice road trip and visit with family.

    lots to choose from!
Here are a bunch of links http://www.quiltingboard.com/links-r...8.html#4566890

For cleaning it up you need to look at Muv's videos
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bidpJ..._order&list=UL
it will go on and do part 2 when part one runs completely out
This is a very good video for cleaning up an old sewing machine!!!
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

She also has one on adjusting tension on a long bobbin sewing machine
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S43_-..._order&list=UL

I think so far she has 9 videos - all very good.

The MUV video you have listed above isn't good apparently. It comes up with an error message from youtube. Is there a particular thing I can search for to find them?

The other videos aren't coming up either. Try selecting them and go on Utube and see what happens. I'll search it out too.
