Very good!!! Hope all is well with everyone. We had a tiny baby....my grandaughter was 9 weeks preemie, and weighed only 2 lb 14 oz. She's now 19 yo, and no sign of any problems ever!!

Well, I am excited about my Davis!! I was messing around with it yesterday, and I decided to thread it up to see if it would stitch. It's still only sitting on a box, not yet in treadle, so I had to spin the wheel by hand. I was fiddling with the needle placement and just couldn't get it to stitch. Then I finally got the needle in correctly, and I guess at just the right height, because all of a sudden she was stitching!! I was just thrilled.....the old girl makes a great stitch. I was going to take a pic but couldn't find the camera this a.m. Anyway, just one more step to getting her going. DH is busy with my other treadle cabinet so I can get my 66-1 back up. As soon as he's done with that, he will get some good wood and make a top for the irons for the Davis. I'm a happy girl today!!

Nancy; I am so sorry abut the loss of your beloved friend and companion. I know how difficult it is to lose such a companion and so suddenly from the sounds of it. He sounds lkes he was a lovely horse.

    Nancy,
I'm very sorry to hear that your dear horse friend died. I know how special our animals are in our lives and the crater they leave when they pass away.
